Microphone Not Working - Realtek HD Audio Manager

Hey, so I just got a mic for the first time and would like to use it (obviously). It's a headphone and mic. So I plug it in and when I do, the Realtek HD Audio Manager pops up say 'Which device did you just plug in'. I select Headphone, then it asks me again and I select 'Mic In'. Yet when I call people or test my microphone, nothing comes out. I unplug it and select 'Line In' instead. Nothing. I restart, nothing.

The microphone's sensitivity is most likely too low.

Cranked up Sensitivity on everything. Brand is Sades SA 708.
