Hi everyone. My issue is with my headphones. The microphone is not working on my PC. I have sony xb950b1 headphones. I've bought audio/mic splitter to connect it to my audio/mic 3.5mm ports. I can see the headphones in the "playback devices" and the microphone in the "recording devices". Headphones audio work well, but the microphone doesn't record anything.

my motherboard is: gigabyte h97-hd3
and it runs it's own realtek hd audio software

I've tried to update all the other audio drivers in the "device manager"
Nothing changed. Hopefully someone can help me with this.

Hello ormadirection

Assuming that your audio splitter is not faulty, can you please check the solutions given here? (Please ignore the last method (Method 03) as you already tried that.)

You can also right-click the Sound icon from the notification area at the bottom-right corner, click Troubleshoot sound problems, and follow the troubleshooting steps in the wizard that opens up.

Alternatively, you can try using the splitter and/or your headphone on a different PC, and see if any of the devices works correctly there.

Feel free to report back for any further assistance.

Cheers!! :)
