[SOLVED] Microphone recordings randomly sounds like I am moving around but I am not

I am trying to record footages with OBS but I notice the sound is strange, most of the time it sounds fine but once in a while there will be a second or two it sounds like I am moving from the left of the mic to my right when my mic is fixed on the desk and I am not moving around.


Not sure if it matters but my rig is:

MSI MEG Z490 UNIFY ATX
Intel® Core™ i7-10700KF BOX
Crucial Ballistix RGB 32GB (2 X 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 - Black
Gigabyte GeForce RTX™ 3070 VISION OC 8GB GDDR6

Try reinstalling the OBS software.

Then any audio related drivers.

Do you have another known working microphone you can try?

Reinstall doesnt seems to change anything, I guess its the mic then?

Could be; however, it is worth a bit more effort to determine if the mic is indeed at fault.

Try another mic or moving the current mic to another system.

Just as a matter of elimination or confirmation.

And do give those trials some time. Intermittent problems can be difficult to diagnose. May appear to have been fixed but then reappear for no apparent reason.
