I have used a Logitech G230 for around a year and a half, I believe, and it made a minor background static noise that seemed to have gotten much worse all of the sudden. It is very annoying, and I have to use a microphone boost so that people can hear me, which just makes the white noise worse. As a result, I ordered a Neewer NW-800 and set it up, only to find that the white noise is two times louder and I am two times quieter. I ordered a phantom power supply, but I do not think it will help much considering the G230 had the same problem. Any help?

Also my pc specs are:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570 CPU
GTX 1060
ASUS B85M-G R2.0
16 GB ram

Try different audio ports on your computer. Try both microphones on another computer.

See if the noise problem follows the microphones or is unique to your computer. The latter being the most likely as I understand your post.

New microphone is just more sensitive perhaps...

There are multiple possibilities to consider.

Step back and take a look at the bigger picture.
