Question Microphone static issue on Macbook Air ?

Hi,
There is this loud static noise that comes from all external inputs. I normally use an Audio Interface, at first I had thought it was the issue, but after testing a different audio interface, and testing my own interface on my friend's windows laptop, I found my audio interface to work with no issues. I've also tested multiple xlr cords and types of microphones, and it seems to be every external input, so I've narrowed it down to be something wrong with my Macbook.
