Hello guys, so i have a headphones with a mic which i normally use for gaming. I also bought a new hp gaming laptop with windows 10 in it, after playing sometime i was told by my teammates that my mic isn't working i.e they can't hear me. So i found out after many google searches and videos that the mic which is built in the right panel of the laptop was being used and was set as default. My headphones didn't detect in the windows so i tried this and it worked -- device manager -- sound -- high definition -- update driver -- browse my computer for drivers and auto locate the existing drivers. This is how i got my headphones mic working. But when i test it on steam in game the background is just tooooooo loud that i can hear a door sound loudly which is 4-5 metre away from me. And when i remove the pins of the headphones (there are two pins , one for audio and other for mic which is joint by a connector as i have only 1 audio jack on laptop) i hear a loud shrieking voice like of a metro railway or something. I dont know what is causing the problem, it's too weird because a few days back the mic was working perfectly (of headphones).
Please somebody help me!!! 🙁
