Alright, I'm having this problem with H2N Zoom microphone that I'm using as my PC's microphone.
Here's the deal, at definite moments, my mic volume in windows which is set at 40% suddenly rises to 100% for no reason. When I say definite moments I mean switching back to a menu in a video game (such as Rainbow Six Siege), or when starting Mirillis Action (It's actually not just starting, it just blocks at 100% when Action is on. I drag the cursor down, and I see it immediatly going back to 100% as if locked at 100%).

"Lower your mic volume on the mic" you may tell me, but I'm recording with this mic and turning pysical volume down to 0 to get a 50% volume on Teamspeak isn't considered the same by Mirillis as it only takes in count the mic physical volume, and that would be 0.

So I'm looking for a solution to solve this glitch that keeps bringing my window's sound option up to 100.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Have you tried to uninstall/reinstall the sound card driver?
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the sound card driver.
- Reboot your PC it should reinstall the driver automatically upon reboot.
- If it doesn't reinstall, download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer site of your sound card or motherboard if it's built in it.
- Once done set the default Microphone in Recording Devices.

Hopefully this will help. :)
