Mobo: Asus Maximums Ranger VIII
Problem: It may have been a few days ago, but i just noticed that my microphone is not emitting any sound with the ongoing setup anymore. It will, however, emit sound when using "stereo mix" as confirmed by a discord call. Unfortunately this also means the person on the other end hears whatever i am hearing, including himself.
Am i right to then consider the microphone hardware to be fine?
Things i've tried:

Things i've tried:
- uninstalling drivers
- changing playback devices/default communication device etc..
- resetting properties
- "Set up a mic" wizzard is unable to launch (error)
- buying a new computer to try the headsets on (i kinna need them to work on THIS pc not some other)
- reinstalling windows!
