Sort of an odd question I think but I didn't find anything useful in searching. I have 2 separate security systems. An outdoor by amcrest and recently a new Yi camera for inside. Both companies offer subscription based cloud storage. I have no desire to pay for 2 subscriptions so here I am.
The amcrest dvr will accept usb for local storage and the Yi a microsd. Should I be robbed neither local device will be of any use to me.
So... what options do I have to "trick" my Yi camera into thinking it's writing to a microsd when in fact it's writing to a usb drive that is uploading to the cloud?
