Microsd video corruption

Hello,

Whenever i record a video on my Sony Xperia Z1 using my San Disk Microsd card, once i end the recording, it automatically shows as a corrupted video. I can view all of my old videos perfectly. It saves pictures fine.

Please help I've searched everywhere online for an answer but cannot find any in my circumstances.

Sounds like your SD card may be on it's way out. If it used to be able to take video, and now it doesn't, it could be getting to end-of-life.

Backup everything, try reformatting and re-inserting, and if that doesn't resolve it, you may need a new SD card.

Thanks your response I'll try that, Ive ordered a memory card reader and I'll try and sort it out.
Ive only owned it for 2 years though so im quite surprised.
