Microsoft Already Updating Windows 8 Apps

Hope this is a sign that Windows 8 would be more like Google than Apple in terms of being able to publish/update your apps. The time it takes for Apple can be more than a week. Something in the middle would be nice, a mix between speed and safety

I have been using Windows 8 for awhile now thanks to my Dreamspark Premium license. Microsoft has been updating apps since it was available on Dreamspark Premium. So this is not something new.

"Windows suck! It always crashes or lock up!"

oh how funny they have time for an update, but no time to put the start button back in!

microsoft's new slogan "always time to do it wrong, never time to do it right" 😉

All you 8 h8ers (had to to it) need to give it a chance. Sure you most likely need to install classic shell but from there its all pluses. I don't use apps much but I'm sure more interesting and useful ones will come out soon.

Best thing about it is the speed and smoothness. On my old 7200K HDD from button push to useable is quicker then my friends SSD (not saying theirs is super quick), mind you with the 5 second wait to choose a different OS.

Get on board, for the general user the start screen will be fine; for anyone more serious classic shell is too easy.

The Windows 8 mail app is worse than useless, That is one app that needs to be updated. The map app has no print option, although if you know your keyboard short cuts you can do "control P" the weather app should make it easier to change your location. Most of the apps have annoying short comings and need to be updated I am glad Microsoft has recognized this.

If Windows was written well/properly a program or driver would not take down the OS. Look at Linux and you will see what I am talking about. Yes Windows Sux.

[citation][nom]SteelCity1981[/nom]So explain to me again why i would want to installed windows 8 on my pc just to make it feel like windows 7? lol[/citation]
Since when did Windows 8 feel like like Windows 7. The only way to get windows 8 to feel like Windows 7 is to either castrate Win7 and add apps to media center or remove metro and add aero and start menu to win8 and that's how you get win8 to feel like win7.

It doesn't matter what version of windows you have installed, it makes no difference in the time it takes windows bios to post. My vista machine with 5400rpm HDD boots faster than my xp machine with 7200rpm HD, Why because my vista machine has a 3sec bios post time where my xp machine has a 15sec bios post time.

I hate how the whiny children here think because they dont like it, the world as a whole doesn't deserve it. Holy shit people. It isn't a hard concept to not install something you dont like.

Then again, I am preaching to the choir, because the same bastards that roam here are the ones who are happy about Steve Job's death. Go get some friends.

Currently have apps published for windows phone 7 and it takes them well over a week to approve. Worse than apple in many cases. Not expecting windows 8 publishing to be any better.
