Microsoft basic render adapter

If I install drivers to my gpu it crashes and I need to uninstall using safe mode.
Is my gpu dead ? No software even detects it anyways... and yes I've tried everything. I just wonder if gpu can still load/be used minorly enough to project windows while it is dead.

please post your hardware so we can help you more.
with today pc there onboard video and gpu. both use diffrent drivers also chipset drivers for the mb that are needed.
