One of many reasons it isn't really ready to roll out apparently. I love the message I get on Windows Update: "We’re offering this update to compatible devices, but your device isn’t quite ready for it."
Not that "there are some compatibility issues that need to be resolved before your device is supported", rather that my device juuussst isn't quite ready yet. Like it needs to do some pushups, maybe take a few college courses, learn to cook, just be a better, more well rounded computer to be truly ready to handle the gift that is version 2004.

Maybe this is like the last update that struggled to install on a lot of machines "This machine isn't ready blah blah blah"

I just copied the update files from the USB to the desktop and ran it from there. Bingo.
