Microsoft Edge won't remember I want to close all tabs

So, Edge asks if I want to close all tabs, and I selected always. Then, the next time I opened Edge with multiple tabs and wanted to close them all, it asked me again. I thought it was just a random little problem that would fix itself. It didn't, and it hasn't for the past month.

My main browser is chrome, but I use Edge often enough that this bothers me.

Use firefox as an alternative. Edge is still a WiP.

run regedit.exe
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Microsoft Edge\Main

AskToCloseAllTabs DWORD

0 = off
1 = on

Eithe this, or you could try running edge as admin, tell it not to ask again and see if it retains the setting.

Thanks i tried that, but it didn't work so I just backed up all my files and refreshed my pc. It somehow is fine now.
