Keep in mind the CMA only approved it because MS sold their cloud streaming rights to Ubisoft.

This means that MS can't really have Activision games exclusive to their platforms for a long time.

Blizzard is one of my favorite game companies. I started playing their games on the Amiga. When Activision bought them, many of us were concerned. Everything was fine. Microsoft buying Activision/Blizzard once again brings concern. Is WOW going to be "Simplified" to be played with controllers not mouse/keyboard?

I don't want WOW to get locked into prioritizing "Xbox First", "The PC a distant second". Don't get me wrong, I own all the latest Consoles, (they rock), I collect computers and consoles. Blizzard already supports consoles on most of their games. I just don't want WOW to be possibly Diminished.

Inaccurate.
Microsoft can't cloud stream games in the UK (like GeForce Now), and only about 3% of overall users used Gamepass's streaming service. You can download and install any Activision games, as they aren't cloud streamed.
All of the ActivisionBlizz games will be available on Gamepass if Microsoft wants to put them on there exclusively. They just can't use a Streaming service for them, as that end of the service got sold off to Ubisoft in the UK. Everywhere else, you can.

And today, we officially start the work of bringing more groundbreaking games to more players than ever before and across new platforms from mobile to -------cloud streaming."-------

Well Hmm we are talking Microsoft. I guess we shall see. 🤔

I'm not interested in cloud streaming. I prefer to play games with mods. Cloud games don't have mods.

Maybe the one positive thing that will come of Microsoft's acquisition is that we get a new Spyro game. I lost interest in Blizzard games a decade ago. CoD has never appealed to me. There are a lot of underutilized franchises under the ABK umbrella that I hope Microsoft does something with.

Blizzard has produced some great game but I'm not sure they were ever a nice company.

And the Ubisoft+ contract is only for 15 years.

Ok? But that still doesn't change the fact that they can't make COD exclusive to them for 10 years.
