From that pic, it looks similar to an Apple store. I can get what they are after, but if they want to beat Apple, they need to stop imitating and start innovating

Yeah, that definitely looks like an Apple store... and apple just filed a patent on their store design. Doesn't take a genius to guess what Apple is going to do.

Anyone here on Toms been in the Microsoft Store? How packed is it and do people buy stuff? I am just curious as to how it compares to Apple Store, it is always packed with people and a lot of people buy Macintosh computers every few hours in my area. I just sit outside and download several hours of HD videos, sucking all the bandwidth for myself, everyone else is complaining about speed and leave, while the "Genies Bar" try to figure out whats wrong (they still can't figure it as of today, unless they are reading this comment). WHahahhahahahha!!!! I am stopping people buying apple stuff.

Microsoft store has decent traffic, Apple store has more.
Apple store from my anecdotal evidence and looking at sales figures for products and extrapolating them to their stores thrashes Microsoft Stores.

There is one where I live and every time I've seen it, it's been completely empty. It's such a rip on the Apple Stores (which imo suck) not sure why they did this.

All I see is a big open room, with tons of sales associates. I know the second I walk in I'm going to be harassed by annoying sales people. No Thanks

Apple Store are one of the highest dollar revenue for square footage retail stores in all of America. That's why they're trying to copy it

Is there a little gestapo FED government emblem anywhere, you know to show that Microsofts OS is co-authored by the NSA. Don't believe me, look it up.

There is very little the FED doesn't have it's hands in these days.

Personally, I would be more worried about the electronics from China spying for the motherland than the FED looking at people. Given that most electronics are now made in China from a consumer standpoint, it's a valid reason in my book.
