I was browsing through the Microsoft website and I came across the Office 365 free trial, and I clicked on it. It said it gave me the free trial with no questions asked. I didn't have to insert my credit card or pay pal or anything. I also didn't have any payment information put in my account. I was under the impression that you had to put in your credit card to get the free trial.
Can someone please explain to me why it didn't ask for my credit card?

Unless https://products.office.com/en-us/try if a fake website, I got it legitimately. I was also logged into my account, but I didn't have any payment info on it. And I also know it is real because on my get office app, it says it is ready to install.

No, there is no payment info on it. Also on my subscriptions it say Office was "Paid with None" and it has no way to remove it.

That doesn't answer my question. Can you explain why it doesn't ask for credit info?

did it required your microsoft account?

Because a credit card isn't required.
