Microsoft Outlook sending items

Having trouble sending emails with and without attachments to other people on Microsoft Outlook. They'll go straight to the outbox or just be delivered the next day... Is there a way to fix this and make the emails go through without taking forever??

Is it outlook or outlook express? Are you connected to an exchange server or a simple pop mailbox? Error messages if you force it with send/receice button? ....

Microsoft Outlook 2007. its connected with 1&1 mail. and yes it errors when i force it, if i drop it in the Sent mail or foward it, it errors...

Just try recreating a new outlook profile
