News Microsoft Partners with Phillips, Asus, Acer for 'Designed for Xbox' Gaming Monitors

Look at those prices! Pffft...

Also 4k gaming is another marketing lie, especially for consoles, and again for this generation too. Not one of the new (next gen) AAA games will run at 4k on either XSX or PS5. Unless they are capped at 30 fps, rofl.

Top end PCs can barely do 4k maxed out and not in all games, but consoles? Nah... Maybe on PS6/XboxWhatever(Series?)Name.

Quite true, better to spend a 1/4 the amount on a decent 4K TV which you can also use to watch TV or stream content. These consoles (PS5/XBOX Series X) are not capable of hitting high FPS with 4K resolution unless they plan on gamers playing non-demanding games. It's all marketing BS. Most console 4K games will be lucky to hit 30FPS. Even now that's the case where gamers once again are given the choice between performance vs quality, which is just like last gen on the PS4 Pro and XBOX One X.

The only slight hope is if AMD can enable something on those consoles like Nvidia does on the PC with DLSS.
