Good afternoon,
I've been experiencing high cpu-usage problems with the service "Microsoft Software Protection Platform Service"; now, I know this is due to me having a pirated Windows 10 version, and when I noticed on various forums that the only solution was really to buy Windows, I decided to buy a Windows 10 Pro key.
Thing is I bought the key, went to the settings and activated the key - problem is, my windows is activated but on every session on my computer the same process continues to run, when it shouldn't be running - at all.
Thanks in advance

Solution
Download/created new install media using Microsoft's site and do a clean reinstall.

If you got a pirated Windows OS the system may be infected with malicious software and could have even open ports for uninvited guests.
I suggest you perform a clean installation of Windows 10, since antivirus and security software might not be able to detect code injected into the OS.
