Microsoft Store app updates

Hi everyone, after setting up Windows 11 there were a lot of updates to be installed after pressing ‘get updates’. It was a bit odd as it said retry next to most of the apps, but I noticed that they were installing one by one and the list said no apps installed.

As soon as I exited Microsoft Store and reloaded all the apps displayed properly as having been installed.

Am I right in thinking that sometimes the UI on Microsoft Store glitches? I think this has happened on other devices occasionally when setting them up.

Update: I just checked reliability history and the logs don’t show there either, but I have only set up the laptop yesterday. On my other devices they show the first day updates to Microsoft Store in reliability history. I am thinking that the apps did update as notepad has the new auto save feature, but I’m wondering why it’s not showing in reliability history. Maybe because it said retry and the apps installed by themselves it did install but didn’t attach a log? What would you guys do? Thanks so much.

I don't like looking in reliability history myself as everytime I do i see errors I was happily ignoring, as they only happen once and boom the blue line drops because 1 program decided to crash. Most recent was printer drivers that failed to update today. Joy...

You could look in event viewer as everything that shows in reliability history also shows there.

I am not sure why it wouldn't show there. Does it show in windows update instead as not every update shows in reliability history.

the two OCUK links require me to logon to see them
