I'm kinda surprised there are few results when I do a search for these but the results are not very helpful. if anyone is familiar with either of these, maybe both, small possibility; anyway please let me know what your thoughts are about either or both of them. i know the only thing in common is the size but thats precisely what im looking for, something that will just let me do research, messaging, movie streaming, etc light stuff in a small weight scale in windows 11. Smaller devices are sort of reappearing and its exactly what some need right now. if you know of others in the vicinity of 10 inches, share that as well. TIA

Go:
2021 dual core with hyperthreading and dual channel ram DDR4 (Assuming the i3-10100Y) 4GB single channel (1x64bit) or 8GB dual channel (2x64bit) (eMMC storage a possibility, also small 128GB SSD as an option)

Chuwi:
2023 quad core without hyperthreading and single channel ram, but DDR5 12GB (2x32bit) with 512GB SSD.

Comparable graphics solutions with the N100 being a little newer, but operating at a lower max frequency then the i3-10100y

Same battery capacity and same rough power usage, should result in similar battery life.

I would lean towards the newer Chuwi if you want performance. They are a pretty well known brand in mini-computers. If you want fit and finish, probably lean towards the Microsoft Go.

Yes, I have one of their touchscreen ones, I recommend them.

That is a very good laptop. Solid, stylish when you see it, it says quality in the same way that an iPad does. The extra 4GB of DDR5 will sort your integrated graphics out no problem for your needs for years to come, and you get decent sized storage. The screen is bright, the trackpad large and responsive, and you get a decent sized SSD.

Just notice its USB-C only so you might need to purchase one of their USB Hubs with it for other USB items. The hubs have HDMI output on them too for an additional screen. The hubs are cheap. On top of that the only downside is the battery size. You`ll get about 4 hours of constant use out of it before needing to plug it in.

On their screen is a pop up link on the bottom left for a 10% discount if you sign up to their propaganda emails. They only take your name and email address. When I ordered, it was here on the 4th working day. There are no import fees to the UK, they will under-declare the VAT, but in my case it went straight past customs with no VAT added.

Enjoy, it will destroy your opinion of brands like HP, Dell, Asus, and others.

I got the larger 2k touch screen Free Book, stylus, and a hub. The i3 versions you get 2 performance cores, might be worth it for a bit of extra power for large spreadsheets and stuff. It also plays GTA at 720p on low settings no problem which I find funny.
