Microsoft windows xp home edition service pack 3 nvidia driver

my PC is running on microsoft windows xp home edition service pack 3. i uninstalled nvidia drivers and now i can't access the internet. how will i know what nvidia driver to install? how will i know what kind of motherboard i have? i'm really clueless with computers.please help.
