microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse products on same dongle

I've got two ms products, one keyboard 2000 and one mouse 3500. Each dongle installs driver software for ms keyboard and mouse, so I have 2 of each in device manager. What can I do to get them working on the same dongle?

you can't as fare as i am aware. the only producs i know of that suport mutiple devices on a single reciver (that the proper name for the "dongle your refering to) are those in the logitech unifying family

The dongles are dual receiver and install extra drivers. the keyboard dongle is larger.

? yeh but what im saying is it cant be done as far as i know with microsoft products you need two recivers, if its a probelm with not enough usb ports buy a usb hub
