Microsoft Word Timestamps

Last year I created a Microsoft Word Document on the 30th December 2016 at 21:04pm. However, when I right click now and select 'Properties' it says it was created at 20:04pm.

Why has the timestamp gone back one hour? Could it have something to do with the clocks going forward in March?

The 'Modified' date has also been put back by one hour.

Thanks.

Time is stored in GMT and then converted to local (time zone) time when the file is accessed of properties are viewed. If you took your computer to a different time zone or changed the time zone on your pc the file creation date would also change. Remember file time is stored in GMT.
