Helppppppp, im experiencing microstutering in my machine.
a 4 years old PC.
I7 4970k with no overclock.
16gb ddr3 1600 kingston vlue ram gigabyt z97x gaming 3 motherboard 600w psu from zalman.
512gb nvme Transcend 220S.
1080TI from gigabyte.
I started having the issiu 4 weeks ago and did the following steps. 1- disconnected all aother drives from pc. 2- bought the Transcend 220S and install a fresh leagal copyp of win 10 pro. 3-changed ram slots and the amount of ram (1 stick of 8 insted of 2 with bouth ram sticks - eatch time in a diffrent slot). 4-changed the network adapter to an external tp link 1gb usb stick.
5- did a costum sceduald task called EmptyStandbyList (from serching microstuters in google).
The stutering happens in all programs and in the win desktop with no specific task or program ,ander load or idel. in my other pc that connects to the same network everything is fine. when i'm opening performance in task manager im not seeing anithing abnormal. do antone have an idea or do i need to buy a new cpu motherboard and ram?

Solution
if u have stuttering everywhere (even on desktop
try first clearup your CMOS settings in bios, either by disconnecting pc from wall outlet and switching clear cmos jumper (follow your maiboard manuals)
or go to bios and load bios defaults

if that doesnt help, download latencymon
run it in background for a while, it shoul drecord if there is some bad dpc/isr/interrupts activity
if there is high latency on any of those, some of your drivers arent compatible with your windows version
if u get hard pagefaults, then you dont have enough ram and system just swapps alot
