Microwaves in Ghana

Hello, I have a friend in Ashanti, Ghana, who has told me that she has spent £122 to buy a secondhand microwave a few days ago, using MY money. I am wary of her. Is she genuine ( £122 seems a very large amount for a new microwave, let alone a secondhand one) ? She lives alone in rented property so would only need a basic microwave.

122 sterling should be considered expensive. However there are different kinds of microwave cookers. Some small, some big. Some industrial grade, some domestic grade. So without more information about what she bought, it will be hard to say whether £122 is a good price or not.
