My Acer Aspire 4736Z OS Windows Vista gets frequently corrupt & it is not rcoverable even with the default recovery setup of the Laptop.

Have you run Anti Virus, and several Antimalware Scans for infections ?

Have you tried using command prompt method of restore ? Or are you talking system restore in safe mode ?

What do you mean by "corrupt"? Getting boot errors? File missing errors? Viruses?

If you keep getting file errors, replace the hard-drive.
