im planning on this build do you think its good enough and will not have compatibility issues?

Asus Z87M-PLUS Motherboard
Kingston SSDNOW V300 120GB Sata SSD
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR3 1866mhz Gamer's Overclocking Memory
Seasonic M12II-520 Evo 80Plus Bronze
Deepcool Tesseract SW Side Window Metal Mesh USB 3.0 Blue LED Gaming Case
intel core i7-4790(non-k)
gtx 970

yes the ssd is for OS only and i plan to buy an HDD to install games, forgot to put it there, ill just be gaming on 1080p and will play A-AAA games, the asus z87m-plus is socket 1150

If you aren't going to overclock than go H97. Tell me your budget please!

dude, i don't think you know exactly what your talking about. like sizzling said, you have to BIOS update with a compatible CPU, and you can't overclock on a non K processor. And the intel processors already have enough power,
they aren't going to bottleneck a 970, 980, r9 295x2, or a 980 ti. Do you know how bottlenecks work? It's not desperate, and a bottleneck only occurs when one part can't keep up with another, and the bottleneck would only appear in CPU intensive games. I don't want to go into detail on how it works.

Can you please give us a budget so we can give you a better build for gaming, oh and if your only gaming or like not streaming, than an I5 is fine for you, and the i7 would be a waste of money that you can spend on an SSD, or PSU, or GPU.

my budget in PH pesos would be 40-45K, in USD that would be 900-1k, and i live in the philippines so prices in the US would differ

any gtx 970 will do as long as not a reference card, any color will do as the cpu will be hidden under the table, although good airflow is a must

also how many php is your current paltriest, with the HDD and the OS and whatnot?

i still have my hdd with OS in my other cpu

oh sorry the auto correct on my friends laptop messed that up. I wanted to know if you would get all the parts you listed now, how many php would that be? also if i had to make any changes, it would be get a 4690 or 4590, get a h97 mobo, get a power supply with at least 650 watts, and thats it.
