mid range graphics card for gaming

Hey guys ,I'm having problem with my computer and I don't know what is happening... My bf3 mp plays choppy and frame rates drop like crazy .I have a r7 260 card with a 1045t over clock to 3.4ghz and my game plays like HD 3000 what is really wrong here ..can please help me fix this ....thanks in advance
