Hey guys,

I'm trying to find a good replacement for my girlfriends old laptop.

Here is what is important for her:
13-15.5" screen
good screen/good audio
good battery (under non-gaming environment)
SSD
can run: Dota 2, Orcs must Die2, Divinity Original Sin with decent graphics options

the budget should be under $1000. (or rather £650 since we live in the UK)

Any good ones you've seen recently?

all help is appreciated

MSI makes great laptop I highly recommend them, as well as lenovo.

Go to each companies website and take a look around at their laptops. I would Aim for at least a GTX 840m or GTX 940m

Sorry didnt see you wanted an SSD

Its gonna be harder to find a good gaming laptop with an SSD

Yeah GTX940m feels enough. Even an Iris Pro would suffice I guess but it's hard to find a laptop with that.
On the SSD, I think it's ok even if it's replaceable manually, though I would prefer getting in an SSD by default.

I have an MSI and I agree with you on that. I'll keep looking, hopefully I can find something good.

Anyone else had any suggestions?
