Hi, I am looking to buy a mid-range PC for gaming, My budget is about 1350 dollars. However, the country i reside in, the prices of hardware are approximately 30 - 50 % more expensive than the US. I came up with half a build but i might not be able to get it with my budget, the build is as follows:

CPU = i5 4690K
GPU = GTX 970
RAM = 8 - 16 GB DDR3 [2133 Mhz]
Chasis = no idea
Cooling = no idea
Storage = im thinking of 2Tb HDD and a 128 GB SDD for windows
Motherboard = still dont know

I am sure i might have to decrease or give away some of these reqs for such a budget. Any help in figuring out this build would be appreciated.

what country are you from?
You can reduce the budget by going with a non-K edition i5, lower end motherboard, and forget the SSD. 128gb isnt enough for a primary drive with all your programs and games, it will fill up too quick. An ssd is an easy add on later anyway. a good 1tb WD black is still pretty fast, for games at least there isnt huge differences except for load times.

I reside in the UAE, an SSD was for the OS only but yea i think i can give it up. Any motherboards come into mind? I was looking at the asus maximus hero but it was abt 300 bucks.

yeah that motherboard is taking up way to much of your budget. An asrock z97 of some sorts would do the job nicely for under half the price of the asus maximus.
