Middle Earth: Shadow of War(Weird problem, pics inside)

I'm having terrible performance with this game no matter what graphics settings or resolution I choose. Like I lower the resolution down to 1024x768 and all settings to low but still get 20 fps.

Here are are my superposition benchmarks

4k optimized: (ranked 290th on their website)

My specs are in the pictures, I don't have this problem with any other game and when I click the auto settings in the game it puts everything on ultra but it performs badly no matter what.

This's driving me nuts, please help.

How are your temps and clock speeds in the game?

hi, my temps are min:40 max: 59-60

the card's overclocked during gaming so it's like, well anyway I took a pic while writing this

looks like i'm using 9 gb of vram and 55% gpu usage, 2038 mhz to 5694 mhz

Well the game commonly uses a lot of vram and your temp, usage, and speed seem fine. How is your cpu? Is it staying cool and at a decent speed?

yes, all cores are working and temps are 50 max.

it's driving me crazy, everything seems to be in order and it's just this game that does this shit

I mean my single gpu benchmark rankings are pretty good compared to the rest of the users. i have the latest drivers for everything including bios, i get 60 fps cap with vsync in every other game like wolfenstein even with "mein leben" or whatever above ultra setting is picked.

this s bizarre. i shouldnt get 20 fps when my resolution is 1024x768

i get better fps when i bench 8k like in that pic

I have no idea... I had issues like this for a while in every game, but it turned out to be a bad motherboard. If it's only one game, that's not the issue.

can't be the mobo anyway, i just got it last month.

it is asus prime Z270-P

i tried overclocking, not overclocking, running as admin, giving the game high prio in task manager, enabling large paging, it just refuses to work.

it s using 10 gb of system ram, i have plenty more to spare

after googling for a while, i see people with the same problem with similar specs as mine but no solution

What is your ram speed? Also, try verifying your game files.

ok, i looked into it a bit more and found more people with the same issue. they say that the issue was fixed after reinstalling windows but this one guy says he reinstalled windows and played the game with no problems but then he installed asus motherboard drivers and bam, it s the same again

this s so weird. i dont wanna reinstall windows, stuck.

yea, don't even use ai suite or any kind of bloatware from asus

reinstalling windows fixed it
