I need your opinion/suggestion...
Its summer time and Im planning to watch a good deal of DVDs but I currently have crappy speakers and onboard sound.

I've came down to two choices:

1) Crative Labes Cambridge DTT 2200 5.1 surround sound
SoundBlaster Live 5.1 OEM

2) MLI 490 4.1
A cheap but good 4.1 sound card

I can get both speakers for around 70-75 dollars. So which one should I get?? The only thing I don't really like about the DTT is not digital, and the only sound card I think that will go well with this would be the Value 5.1 (even though I try hard to stay away from Sound Blaster sound cards). The MLI 490 is digital but its obviously only a 4.1 speaker setup meant for gamers...but will it work as well for DVDs??

Thanks for any advice.

i'd get the 5.1... the sound blaster and cambridge sounds combo seems quite a bit better to me...

you do not strengthen the weak by weakening the strong
