Hello. I have had my motherboard for awhile. It is a LG1336 X58 ASUS P6X58D Premium, and at this time I can't tell you what the CPU actually is because the computer won't properly turn on. I have a thread over in the PSU forum that tells a lot of information and the troubleshooting I have done so far. https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...n-after-new-psu-troubleshooted-a-bit.3479331/

My question is this... Can you even buy a relatively cheap compatible motherboard that will allow me to use my current RAM (DDR3 1333) and my CPU (intel i7-something, that is hooked up to the motherboard above)? Or am I out of look and I'll just need to upgrade to a new version along with new CPU and RAM? I am not a rich person, so I am just needing to find out if this is a weekend thing... or if it is going to take weeks of buying a piece here and a piece there.

Thank you for all of the help!
