[SOLVED] Migrating from Gigabyte MA-770-UD3 to B250M-DS3h

I've recently acquired an old custom built PC and a few parts from my brother after he upgraded his and am wondering if theres any problems that may arise from the different hardware.

Current build:
GPU: nvidia geforce gtx 460 (keeping until i can afford a new one)
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 940
MoBo: Gigabyte MA770-UD3
RAM: DDR2 2gb

New Hardware:
CPU: Intel i3 7100
RAM: DDR4 8gb
MoBo: Gigabyte B250m DS3H

I've checked in a couple of places for compatibility of all hardware and nothing has flagged up at all. My only concern is changing from AMD to Intel. Would/should/can I preinstall any drivers for the new processor?

You will want to do a fresh install, of windows, for the new hardware.

ive just installed a fresh copy of Windows 10 about 6 hours ago a new hdd. will tha suffice or are you saying to do so after ive moved everything?

New install, when the drive is in the new system where it will live.
