I've had a PC with only an HDD for around 6 months now and I recently purchased a PCIe m.2 SSD and installed it today. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how I migrate/transfer JUST my OS (Windows 10 Home) from my HDD to my SSD. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
As said, you can't do 'just the OS'.

However, 300GB will easily fit into the 512GB drive.
However #2, cloning from a SATA drive to PCIe can be problematic.

"just the OS"

That cannot happen.
There is no function or application to migrate "just the OS" to a different drive.

What size is the new SSD?
How much actual space is consumed on the current HDD?
What size/make/model is the SSD, and what motherboard is this on?
