So my situation is as follows my hdd has just gone out of warranty and got a few invalid sectors or whatever they are called.
I purchased a new drive which is an sshd that being said I plan to migrate my entire drive onto there and probably trash or try to repair it after I have everything secure.
The thing that I can never find an answer to around the net is since my drive has two partitions C and D (C is the os partition) when i migrate will it keep it separated/partitioned as it is or is it going to dump everything inside one partition(I'd like to have them as they are on the new drive, not combined)
I havent posted any specs since Im unsure how that would help but if its needed feel free to ask and thanks for helping in advance.
:)

Solution

Yes.

It will recreate the situation on the new drive just like it is on the old drive.
You may have to extend one or both partitions to account for the larger space. But yes, it will do what you seek.

Specific steps for a successful clone operation:
-----------------------------
Verify the actual used space on the current drive is significantly below the size of the new SSD
Download and install Macrium Reflect (or Samsung Data Migration, if a Samsung SSD)
Power off
Disconnect ALL drives except the current C and the new SSD
Power up
Run the Macrium Reflect...

What size is the old drive?
What size is the new drive?
What OS is this?

In the migration process, it can/will create two partitions, C and D (among the others needed.

Select ALL the partitions on the existing C drive
Click the 'Clone' button
Wait until it is done
When it finishes, power off
Disconnect ALL drives except for the new SSD
This is to allow the system to try to boot from ONLY the SSD
Swap the SATA cables around so that the new drive is connected to the same SATA port as the old drive
Power up, and verify the BIOS boot order
If good, continue the power up

It should boot from the new drive, just like the old drive.
Maybe reboot a time or two, just to make sure.

If it works, and it should, all is good.

Later, reconnect the old drive and wipe as necessary.
Delete the 450MB Recovery Partition, here:

Solution
So i started cloning and after a while i got an error that it failed i was using macrum reflect.
Look around on google and found suggestions that it might be cuz of bad sectors so now i am running hdat2 and so far i have 2 blocks and 24 bad sectors does thay mean i wont be able to clone successfully

If the software can't read those sectors, it will not work.
