Heyaa guys! ... please help me, i want to buy a new ssd, and my plan is to migrating my Windows 10 OS from hdd to ssd.
I aiready read topics about this in many forum including in here, and there is something more that i want to ask :
- Can you guys give me some guides?, this is the situation > After i migrating os from hdd to ssd, i want to use my old hdd as my storage, because i think i need it for my instalation program in the future, but i'm not sure with the steps that must i take.
1. Plugging ssd into sata slot
2. Formatting the SSD in disk management (did i need it ?)
3. Migrating > Successfull
4. Shut down > Unpludge old hdd > Entering Bios and change Priority boot device
5. Testing boot process
6. if boot process doesn't have any error, Shutdown and then Plugging old hhd right ?
Q : (did i need to Format old C directory that contain the old directory ? or when migrating process, it will be deleted automatically by the software ?)
Q : if the software doesn't deleting the OS in my old hdd, is boot priority will be selecting ssd as boot device (after i select it in bios), while my hhd is still having the same OS as ssd ? and it wouldn't cause any problems?
Thanks in advance guys, sorry for my english
