I have a new Mikrotik Cloud Core Router. Just want to ask to those who use this router if this is a good one? Mostly I need good QoS to prevent packet loss on games. TIA

Solution
The MikroTik routers have ha high core count CPU -- often one CPU / ethernet port. So you would want to take advantage of that and split your 100 clients across all the ethernet ports on the router. Don't use 48 port switches with a single uplink to the router. use 24 or 16 port switches EACH with an uplink to the router.
what is your internet bandwidth? setting up a limiter per client would likely work.

for any queuing discipline you will want to lookup the throughput because they are generally very cpu intensive. Not many qdisc are very good. ipfire can run fq_codel+htb at very high throughput.
