Mikrotik Networking Mirroring

Hello all,

I am currently using Mikrotik CCR-1036 12G-4S router and i think it does not come with switch chip feature. Now i need to mirror some port and redirect all traffic into one port. How can i achieve this things in this router? Any solutions because i am stuck using wireshark.

You are correct it doesn't support port mirror so you would need to run all traffic through a managed switch that does.

Hmmm..... You mean i need to use port mirroring in managed switch and start sniffing my whole network?

I mean the only way you are going to mirror a single port is to pass that port through a switch with port mirroring. You dont have to connect anything else other than the pass through and the monitor on the mirror.

Okay i got it but how can i do this in if i need to monitor my WAN? Router does not support port mirroring.. how can i monitor my WAN.. well i can monitor all my LAN traffic using switch like you said before.
