Mikrotik router speaker modding

Hello, recently I have purchased a Mikrotik hAP lite (tower) and have noticed that it doesn't "beep". Upon inspection of the board, I realised that this router doesn't come with one.

Could I be able to solder one tiny speaker (the ones usually built-on pc motherboards for POST.) and reprogram the source code to use it as intended?

Routers don't generally beep. Their operating systems also run in flash memory and I think they are closed source unless you install custom firmware. The idea of modding a router and it's firmware to beep sounds like an interesting 3rd or 4th year engineering project. It sounds difficult to impossible. You'd need the schematics for the router manufacturer as you won't find them easily. The only reason PCs can do it is because they have headers and traces that are connected to things.Without those, not sure how you'd install a speaker.

I'd just return it and get a different one if you truly want beeping.
