I'm 16 and I have been thinking about joining the military. I want to upgrade stuff in my setup,but I don't at the same time because I am not sure if I can bring that stuff once I join. Any opinions on what I should do?

You've got a couple years left before you go, that's a good amount of time. Plus once you finish your training you will be able to bring your stuff to your duty station and you can use it until you get deployed.
