You probably want to create a hidden column that converts that to the internal time format. Then it is very easy to do math. For example -- https://fiveminutelessons.com/learn-microsoft-excel/use-timevalue-function-convert-text-time-excelI guess it would be string. In other words, they'd just type in 1300 for 1:00.
Is the time-in and time-out stored as string or as an Excel date/time ?I have a time tracking spreadsheet using military time in and out. In a third column, I'd like to know the amount of time in hours and minutes (time out minus time in), but am having trouble with the formatting and syntax. Any help would be appreciated.
