Major Teroh
Flying
3WW, sacrifice Major Teroh: Remove all black creatures from the game.

Mind Bend
Change the text of target permanent by replacing all instances of one
color word with another or one basic land type with another. (For
example, you may change "nonblack creature" to "nongreen creature" or
"forestwalk" to "plainswalk." This effect doesn't end at end of turn.)

If I am sacrificing Major Teroh to destory all black creatures, can
Mind Bend be played?

Can it be played after I sacrifice Major Teroh?

Played on what? Note that the target of Mind Bend is a permanent, not
an ability on the stack or a card in the graveyard.

402.6. Once activated or triggered, an ability exists independently of
its source as an ability on the stack. Destruction or removal of the
source after that time won't affect the ability. Note that some
abilities cause a source to do something (for example, "Prodigal
Sorcerer deals 1 damage to target creature or player") rather than the
ability doing anything directly. In these cases, any activated or
triggered ability that references information about the source will
check that information when the ability resolves, or will use the
source's last known information if it's no longer in play.

No, nothing can be played when you are "sacrificing Major Teroh", because
you are then in the middle of playing an activated ability. Nobody
gets priority to play anything until you finish playing it (including
paying all costs, such as putting Major Teroh in the graveyard). Major
Teroh's ability now sits on top of the stack, waiting its turn to
resolve (and remove all black creatures from the game). Then
state-based effects are checked. Then all triggered abilities that
have triggered are placed on the stack. Then YOU get priority. YOU
may play an instant or activated ability. (but not a sorcery, creature,
enchantment, artifact or land--there's an unresolved ability on the stack).
Only if you decide to not play does your opponent finally get priority
and chance to play something.

Not if the player wants to target Major Teroh. It's no longer a permanent
but instead a card in the graveyard. Even if Major Teroh did *not*
get sacrificed, changing his card text after the ability is used would
not change the text of the ability on the stack.

Only -before- you announce Major Teroh's ability. If it's opponent's Mind
Bend, they're pretty much out of luck unless they catch you without 3WW handy.

>Can it be played after I sacrifice Major Teroh?

Sure, but since Major Teroh is no longer a PERMANENT at that time it can't
be played to try to target Major Teroh. It also can't target MT's ability,
since it doesn't SAY it can target abilities (it only targets permanents). As
far as I know we don't -have- anything that can change a color word, or
land-type word, on an ability on the stack.
