Minecraft 1.6.1: Can't launch with mod installed, Help

So ever since Minecraft updated to the new launcher in 1.6.1, i haven't been able to install mods correctly. For the new launcher, you have another method to installing that involves changing files, and yadayadayada. I've followed the steps carefully, and have done them multiple times, but every time reguardless of the Mod in question, it always gives me back this error report. I've used verrified mods for 1.6.2 (current release) like Remi's mini map. And still nothing, could you guys help me?

Ok so are you using forge or mod loader with it? And do you just want to install Rei's minimap?
