I'm a little confused to what could be giving me such a low framerate.

Intel i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
8GB RAM (2 x 4)
GeForce GTX 960 2GB

I noticed when I tried to allocate 4GB, even 2GB of RAM to Minecraft, it wouldn't allow me to. So would adding an extra dual 4GB get my fps to 60?

Says this when I try to go further.

L error 0x0505: Out of memory at pre-useProgram

So should I just buy dual-channel 4GB RAM to make the fps normal? I know I have a powerful GPU and decent CPU, but it's not letting me max out the performance. :/

No BSoD. I can simply see the low FPS in-game by pressing F3. It does generate some lag.

My PC isn't a piece of crap. It can run other games at extreme settings with 60 fps. Plus, it's only a month old.

The erro is a video card error. Try another video card. Try your card in another PC.

My younger brothers pc is relatively similar to yours, Certain shader packs gave him better performance than others. His favorite pack was the high version of Sildur's vibrant shaders

OMG, I fixed my solution. I used Forge 1.8, GLSL Shaders mod v2.4.8mc1, Optifine 1.8 Ultra D1, and SEUS 1.8 Ultra to give me max settings and 60 FPS. I capped at 60 FPS, but I think I'll try to go higher.

If you want to do what I did, reply and I'll tell you what I did
