Question Minecraft cant run over 37-39 fps

When running minecraft my frames are stuck at 40 fps. Even if i turn the render distance or particles to minimal my frames wont get better. All other games run smooth as butter. Recently I did a clean reinstall of Minecraft but the problem is still there.
My specs are:
Core i5-3470
GTX 1050
8GB of RAM
500 GB of Samsung SSD

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Which driver version are you on for your GTX1050? How old is your PSU? Which version of your OS are you on(assuming you're on Windows 10)?

is there an easy way to tell PSU or chassis because i dont know these things .

Ram: Samsung M378B5173QH0-CK0 Micron 16KTF51264AZ-1G6M1 8GB
SSD/HDD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 Version 431.36
PSU: probably 240 Watt
Chassis:I don't know
OS: Windows 64 Bit
