When I open Minecraft in non-fullscreen mode, when I left click on the Minecraft window, for a split second it says "Not responding" on the top bar, next to the window title (minecraft). When I run Minecraft in fullscreen mode, and left click, the screen flashes to the desktop very quickly. Minecraft registers that I left clicked, but it's quite annoying that minecraft stops responding every time I left click! :/

Anybody know how to fix this? If it's related to the same problem, when I minimize Minecraft or Euro Truck Simulator 2, I can't re-open the apps from the task bar, so I have to quit them and re-open them.

I just built this computer a couple days ago, and am running the latest version of all software. I've tried to re-download/install Minecraft, and I've re-installed and updated the Intel HD 4600 graphic drivers several times and I am not seeing any improvements! :/

PC Specs:
Windows 10 Home
Intel i7 4790 3.6GHz
HyperX Fury 120GB SSD
Seagate 500GB HDD
Asus z97-c motherboard

Solution
Hello,

Please try the following;

1. Uninstall the Intel 4600 Driver fom device manager
2. Uninstall java
3. Increase the virtual memory on your computer as much as you can (based on windows recommendation)
4. Reboot your PC
5. From device manager on the graphics card do the "check for updates" or "update driver". Follow the process until it updates to the intel 4600 from the microsoft standard display adapter (this will rollback the driver to a previous version, not the version that was implemented when you built your PC).
6. Reboot your PC
7. Reinstall latest java
8. Reboot your PC.
9. Click minecraft and play.

This should fix your flickering screen problems when playing Minecraft
