I recently bought Minecraft to play whit my friend and i have FPS limit 79-80 it realy bothers me,I have i5 7400 and GTX 1060 6gb. Please help.

Unlike most games it will use all the cpu you can give it.

I remember a few years ago i made a level that had an infinite layer of tnt and when i set one off the game became more and more laggy as the amount of explosions scaled logarithmically.

I noticed at that point the game was using all 12 threads of my 4930k.

I think you meant RAM.

I give my Minecraft 16GB of my 32GB RAM, and it loves me in return; I have to ask, though...why do you need more than 90 FPS? Most people can't tell the difference above 60 FPS; even if you can tell the difference, the game's not stuttering or lagging (which Minecraft will happily do if you haven't given it enough RAM), so...

I meant CPU lol.

When i detonated the single tnt it triggered a chain reaction of explosions that scaled until the cpu was no longer able to keep up

I checked my cpu meter and it was capping out all 12 threads at 100%.

Not many games if any are able to use all of my ram, 32 gigabytes.

Huh. I never noticed that, probably because I'm not insane enough to detonate an entire infinite world made up almost entirely of TNT.

Speaking to the 32GB RAM question, I have a feeling that if you told Minecraft to use all 32GB and then threw as many mods as you could find at it, Minecraft would find a way to run out of memory.

I have a 144hz display as well.

My drivers are updated and I have VSync turned off.
